Nice track, and don't forget to bring a salut to Jops at the end of pitlane!![]()
Please add the amount of laps for this race!![]()
Probably pit exit will probably be problematic today...
Few practice this time and very happy to be back on track with the 67.
With 19 to go the grip changed so much that I had to start reducing / refining my driving to avoid serious mistakes.
I got to 4th place thanks to the pit stops.
Sorry Bjorn, I should have let you pass 1 or 2 laps earlier because from then on my car seemed to turn into a lawnmower at any moment, and it didn't make sense to hold you off.
Some silly mistakes in the last laps but very happy to bring my brand new eagle to the garage.
Thanks all for racing

Good to be back with HIESI had hoped for a bigger turn out though.
Quali was difficult, could not get the lap right, was aiming for a mid24. I got only 1 or 2 hotlaps each run due to the tires not being ready yet, also to do with too low tirepressures and sometimes traffic, making a gap by slowing down.
At the start I did not see the starter (flagman). I still do not know where he was...on the Tower? Outside my FOV (106 degrees triple monitor). I hope nobody suffered, I think Dag took profit and was quite agressive into T1. I was patient and followed him but on Lap 2 he lost in at May, possibly bottoming out or overcorrecting. Tough break Dag. André could create a little gap in the meantime, and the first few laps I did not gain a lot of time. But eventually I did close the gap and got a good tow at some point. My 5th gear was too short for the tow, so it had to be an early tow and it worked out in the end. I was alongside at T1 at the inside and could complete the pass.
André made a mistake shortly after and I was able to extend the gap to 9s or so when André pitted. I did decide to empty the tank (22 laps), also when there would be traffic on pitroad a lap before. But when leaving the pits Doni came up, and to be sure I waited for him to pass before rejoining the track.
Second stint was very solid, mostly 25s with a few bad laps due to lapping or making mistakes.
All in all happy with my drive. Great track, the May, Scherrer and Jops combo of fast corners is fantastic! Very enjoyable and challenging. Later in the run rear grip went away.
Still on a winning streak for 2022
Congrats André and Rainer!Well done finishers, commiserations Dag...
Thanks all for racing![]()
Qual
Struggled early on in qualifying and did to many mistakes. But managed to get a good time close to my PB at the end.
Race
A good start from me and as Robert didn’t see the starter I pulled away and was first in to turn 1.
Had hoped that Dag would hold up Robert a bit longer, but as he made a mistake already on lap 2 Robert passed and started chasing me down.
Managed to hold him of until lap 10, and as he passed me, my tires just stopped working( it was like he had an oil leak spraying my tires)
So the rest of that first stint I really struggled with the grip. And as soon as my pit window opened I made my stop.
The second stint was pretty equal, and Robert just pulled away. He was just to fast today.
Great drive today, Robert. You were flying!
Congratulation’s to you for a dominant win and to Rainer for joining us on the podium.
See you all at Monza :-)
Sorry about the lack of sound in the live stream. I got an complaint during qualifying that the sound was to low. When I tried to fix it GPL hang, and I just managed to get it restarted before the race start. And ended up with no sound at all. Sorry for that!
