Some notes on this:


As the data is obtained from replays, black flags cannot be taken into account. I.e. for Westwood Erik is listed as third, Dan as second.
Also shifts due to time penalties are not taken into account.


In tables 4 to 6 the POSSIBLE LAPS are the total laps to be completed in the races in which the rider has participated. For those who took part in all 18 races, this is 762. The laps completed (and the percentage) decrease the more often drivers are lapped or retired early.
TOP 3 laps are the laps that the driver was in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.


A collision is any contact found by GPL_Protest - including FP cases. After all, these are usually also close stories.

I would also like to run the programme with all races of the 3 seasons. However, I am missing three replays from 2019: Dundrod, Imola and Rouen and Bikerniki.
Unfortunately links in archiv doesn't work.


Edit 28.11.: I found a trick to download the missing replays. The reason because the links are not working are the first letters of the folders, i.e. rouen... instead of Rouen...

A great season 2021, very well done and grats to Robert for winning the championship! Hope you can continue in future and hope the best for your health. To see you manage the BRM so well is impressive!

Grats to André for solid driving as always and well P2!
Erik started in this season (I like your videos where bring GPL up and open a window from this world) and have shown a very good race performance. Grats for well P3!

Grats also Dag for P4, well deserved and in right direction after 2020!

5th for me was better than expected, I did some of the races well and scored good points. I missed Phillip Island and one of my favourites; Dundrod. Now I feel I maybe has more race experience than before but still have a lot to learn (as it is always in GPL).

Grats to all for finish this season, well deserved and you all shown so professional driving!

I too like this format of races and DGP. Here are good races. Difficult to set fast lap times as the window where tire temp and wear in combination can be short to match, but for me I do some of the testing in normal training, especially if the track need a new Pb.

Statistics tool by Olaf looks interesting, a lot of nice data to extract, looks forward to it being used further too.

First of all, a big thank you to the league admins Andrè, Dag and Pelle! I hope you'll be fit enough to drive again sometime, Pelle.


I have a request and a question:

1. DGP works in PRO and INT mode. Last winter we did a test race in INT mode.
I noticed a bug that only occurs in INT mode. I fixed the bug and made a new DGP version (v811).
Since the previous version (v81) would give an advantage in INT mode, I had to change the access.
Now my request: Can we change to the new version during the winter break?
Then I could remove the old version in my SRMZ link (because currently I have both version linked there). That would make things easier for me.

I don't see any league that DGP wants to run in INT mode at the moment, but you never know. When you switched to the patch in PRO mode here, I absolutely didn't expect that that would happen.
In PRO mode, absolutely nothing changes in the new version...except access.


2. We are not that many participants. Fortunately, most of us have an incredibly low drop-out rate. But a few more people couldn't hurt.
Maybe we should consider whether Thursday is the ideal day? In the EOLC days, the main race day was always Sunday (evening). Thursdays were also raced in some years and there were always significantly fewer participants.
Carsten Grelck often trains on the server, but cannot participate on Thursdays. Claudio Callipo is also unable to attend on Thursdays.
In principle, I can take part on both days, but I prefer Sunday.
The question would be, of course, what is your situation?

If we are making a new dgp version would it be worth looking at tweaking the tirewear ever so slightly towards the 80 version? I feel that its a tiny bit harsh in terms of trying a zero stop and there have been many more 1 stop strategies than zero stops.

As for sunday night that works for me , not sure about Andrè though.

I sort myself out first. V8 had the same wear as v71. We had driven with it before. I remember it was my favourite at this time. Now I'm back in the picture...
Well, in principle it is of course possible to change back on this occasion.
But I have another suggestion that would have a similar effect: How about banning refuelling? Then the pit stop would also be less attractive. This would also reduce the stress of pit stops and you could spontaneously change your strategy during the race.
With the Pitstop Listing Tool, it would be easy to find violations of the rule. You would only have to prohibit the raising of the arm while standing in the pit.
Maybe we could also say that there is only a penalty (e.g. 30s time penalty) if someone refuels more than 10% before the end of the race, so that nobody will be penalised if he just miscalculated and took a bit too little fuel.


Of course, we should be careful with Sunday. It would be good if many drivers (preferably all) would comment on this...

It seems to me that if there is a halfway point between 80 and 81 then that might be just right.

Not sure about banning refueling as with 1 hour races the weight isnt all that great of a difference and not sure it would make the zero stopper more attractive as this year its been very hairy indeed not to stop.

Changing day is kind of a big thing so agree that the majority at least of the drivers should sound off on that.

My job is that you can all have the best GPL Forum (hope you all think the same) sometimes a little nerve-wracking whether an update will succeed or it all goes down

Me & GPL, I did everything after moving, bought cockpit & looked forward to joining you guys...but G27 was my death.I spent so much time hoping it would succeed, sought help everywhere, even on SRMZ...with no luck & I gave up. Became too rusty for GPL in the long period of my hope with too many disappointments.

Me too had major problems getting my Logitech Momo steering wheel to work in Windows10 64bit.
Even now, the steering triggers after every Windows restart when I step on a pedal.
Then I noticed that the problem disappears when I disconnect the steering wheel from the PC again after the restart and then plug it back in after the windows restart.
Maybe that helps, Pelle?
