Tracks like these are the reason why I play GPL instead of modern simulators. More danger, more better!
I should have my wheelbase back by friday and the break gives a nice of oppertunity for plenty of preperation.

During practice I did earlier this month GPL would sometimes randomly shut itself down when going through the uphill hairpin at Badbergen Kurve.
Is this a known issue of the track?

Well it dont really get more dangerous than Sachsenring Erik so glad you like it. It IS a great drive and a very challenging track albeit with a very low survival rate.

Not aware of any issues with this particular track. Driven quite a few races here and never experienced any discos or CTDs. Hopefully it works as it shuold.

This track is definitely prone to freezes - I had my first one yesterday after 7 laps I think. Last year in training I also had one, each time in Queckenberg curve or behind the right-hand bend before.
As far as I remember, Ferdi refused to drive here again.
All in all, not motivating circumstances for training.
And I had a look in the archive at EOLC. The track was only run once for a reason. At least four freezes, see here:

So far I luckily only had 1 freeze during practice on the server.

However spinning out in Badbergen Kurve is still almost a garanteed ctd (not a freeze, the game just closes).
Both online and offline, seems that the slowest corner of the track is actually the most dangerous.
