DGP 8.1 test race , Jan 7th

Hey all , merry Christmas and all that.

I was thinking about an open server test race with the 8.1 patch on thursday the 7th of January around 2000 CET ish.. depending on the server.

The pre qual server is set to 45 laps so it would only mean showing up to race , it will be an hour of practice though.

I'm giving serious consideration to using the Eagle this coming season. Precious little time in it over the years so maybe it's high time.

@Olaf: It took me a while to checkout everything about DGpatch, but now as I understand the features I know its genious!!! - a great expansion to the SIM, unbelievable that such tweaks are possible! Thank you very much for your work!

@Pelle: I think for a ferrari you are far to fast

I would be fine with Pelle driving the ferrari. Robert has more in the tank in the BRM I suspect and since tire management is also a pretty big factor here I think it would balance itself out with Pelle in red.

So far this league has been dominated by Robert and Andrè so everybody else is free to go for something quick as I see it , with the wear and such its gonna take more than just raw speed to claim this title anyways and I know both of these cats will be up there in "slower" chassis.

Ferdinand nailed down P4 in the BRM last season and he was on avg one of the slowest drivers on track. But he was very consistent and managed his tires well all season and that brought in a bunch of points.

So I say go for it..

Good to see you back here, thought I would meet you on Ring Night. You are absolutely right with the car choice, but I got to drive very little GPL last year due to relocation & am totally rusty. My driving style has never been good for DGP & maybe not for Honda as it is heavier than Ferrari, without DGP the choice would be Honda.
I do everything to get in shape again in GPL, for example with Wreckfest...mostly to knock rust

...& as Dag says, what can we do about André & Robert
